We'll discover the magnificent aegean coastline, with its crystal clear waters, azure skies, vineyards, landscapes of cultivated fields of aniseed, sesame and artichokes dotted with fig trees, which will make you wonder if you are on Cote d'Azur or Provence.
Urla, where we will stay and ride, is a charming litlle fisherman village (40 km away from Izmir) , well known for its vineyards, its beaches, constant wind and all kinds of festivals, like International Artichoke Festival (which will happend during our stay at KiteFest Easter Edition)
Not to mention Alacati town, old charming fishermen village, with stone houses and cobbled streets, which has become Turkey's Saint Tropez, the favourite vacation retreat for the richest and famous turkish people.
Our playground will be a kitesurfing paradise - we've been there before and we're eager to return. Thanks to the shallow water, the waves never get formed so the small chop is good for tricks & jumps practice.
Beginners also find it extremely comfortable to learn here, due to the shallow water and the relatively clean water bottom ( there's no rocks in most places, so you can walk barefoot ).
The water always stays calm, thereby creating nature’s ideal training and practice conditions. The bay offers enormous space for all and has classified areas for both training and advanced kitesurfers; pros can free their energy and practice their jumps and tricks, while beginners are able to do their first or second steps safely and in undisturbed waters.
